Whichever way you come to us, our pricing is always transparent, with no hidden fees – so every decision is yours to make with full clarity.
Pricing is determined through the My Aged Care assessment and funding process, ensuring consistency and transparency across providers.
You only pay for the services you choose to use, plus Symbol’s 10% care management fee, which covers personalised coordination and ongoing support.

Sometimes demand for Support at Home is higher than the funding available, which can mean a wait before your full budget is allocated. When that happens, the government may offer you interim funding so you don’t have to put your care on hold.
Interim funding gives you 60% of the total budget for the level of ongoing support you’ve been approved for, with the remaining 40% released as soon as it becomes available. It’s enough to get started on the support that matters most to you.
From your first day with us, we’ll help you make the most of the budget you have – beginning with the services you need now, and building out your care as the rest of your funding comes through. Your plan isn’t fixed; it grows with you.
The government decides whether interim funding applies to you and will let you know by letter. It isn’t used in every situation – if your needs are assessed as urgent, or you’re approved for the Restorative Care Pathway or End-of-Life Pathway, your full funding is allocated from the start.

Not everyone’s care is funded through Support at Home – and even when it is, there may be a service you’d like that sits outside what your funding covers. Either way, you’re welcome to arrange care with us directly.
You might choose this if you’re not eligible for a government-funded package, if you’d like to begin before your funding is in place, or if you simply want a little more than your allocation allows. Whatever the reason, our care is exactly the same – the same people, the same warmth, the same way of doing things.
When you arrange care this way, you pay the full price for the services you choose, as shown in the price list above.
